In order to keep our provider / client relationship strong, I wanted to take the time to spell out our cancellation policies so there is never a question about what is expected on both of our parts!
Pro Skin Studio is appointment based. For that reason, it is our policy to charge clients who cancel with less than 24 hour notice the full amount for the service(s) missed. This also applies to no show appointments. We are blessed to be very busy, and we reserve your appointment time for you, and when you don’t show for your appointment our therapist still deserves to be paid!
If you need to make changes to your scheduled appointment, please give us at least 24 hour notice. If you are adding to an existing appointment, we may have to make a small shift in our schedule to accommodate you. If you need to cancel part of your appointment, and you DON’T notify us, we will still charge you for that part of your appointment as we may have been able to see another client during that time. A quick call or text to 802-349-6292 will suffice if you need to add or subtract from your already scheduled appointment.
You will receive text reminders about your appointment at the time that you make your appointment, and also 72 and 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Do NOT reply to this text to cancel or change your appointment as it will NOT be received by anyone at Pro Skin Studio. It is a ‘dummy’ number, and reaches no one! You can reach us via phone / text at 802-349-6292 or email at jenn@ProSkinStudio.com to cancel or change your appointment. If you do not receive a confirmation phone call, text or email, your appointment cancellation was NOT received. Call, text or email again. Do not rely on Facebook messenger as a means to change your appointment. All cancellations MUST be via phone / text to 802-349-6292 or email to jenn@ProSkinStudio.com.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your waxing appointment, your appointment will be considered to be a no show appointment, and you will be charged accordingly. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your facial, massage or reflexology appointment, you will be seen for the remainder of your service time and a portion of your service will be omitted so your therapist can end on time and not be late for their next appointment.
If you are ill (cold, flu, cold sore, etc) call us immediately to change your appointment EVEN IF IT IS WITHIN 24 HOURS! We will afford you the same courtesy if your therapist is ill. Our business depends on us staying well, and by coming to see us when YOU are unwell, you seriously affect our ability to see clients. If we don’t work, we don’t get paid. Period. Any appointments changed or cancelled within 24 hours due to illness will NOT be charged a fee. However, if we see a pattern of missed appointments due to illness, we will require pre-payment for all of your appointments in the future.
